Description
This cottage is an original stone barn that has been sympathetically converted to holiday accommodation in 2009/2010 and was given a 4 star Gold Award by VisitBritain in June 2010. It forms part of a listed farm courtyard and the individual, enclosed garden backs onto a newly planted orchard. With underfloor heating throughout and real wood log burners the cottage offers all year round comfort and appeal. The cottage has been designed with disabled access to the front door, which opens into the hallway. A door leads into the living/dining area, which is open plan and then follows around into the kitchen. French doors open from the living area giving access to the garden, which has a patio and garden furniture. The hallway gives access to a downstairs double bedroom and a good sized wet room, which also has a heated towel rail. Stairs lead up from the hallway to the main king-sized bedroom, 2 single bedrooms and a family bathroom with over-bath shower and heated towel rail.
